Severe Weather across most of North Western Twin Cities Surburban causing Flash Floods

  • Crow River at Rockford (Wright and Hennepin Counties): A Flood Warning went into effect until Tuesday evening (July 1, 2025). Minor flooding is occurring and forecast, with low-lying areas and some roads along the river experiencing flooding at 10.0 feet. The stage was 10.7 feet as of Friday evening. It is expected to crest at 10.7 feet just after midnight tonight (July 5th, 2025) and fall below flood stage early Wednesday morning.
  • South Fork Crow River at Delano (Wright County): While there was recent activity with a river stage of 15.38 ft on July 4, 2025, no watches, warnings, or advisories are currently in effect for this area. Minor flooding begins at 16.5 ft, moderate flooding at 17.5 ft, and major flooding at 18.5 ft.
  • Flash Flood Warnings in Wright County: A Flash Flood Warning for southeastern Sherburne and central Wright Counties was cancelled on June 29, 2025, as flood waters had receded.

  • Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
